Hipp Gustavson, Head of Tieto Banktech EasyFS Core Banking, has a history of outstanding leadership, deep industry expertise, and long-standing contribution to digital transformation in financial services and the public sector. With over eight years overseeing EasyFS solutions in core banking and leasing management solutions, she is also leading a global team across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, India and the UK, driving product strategy, development, maintenance, customer onboarding and successful large-scale deliveries. Her remit spans product management, GDPR and KYC compliance, development processes, and the continuous evolution of one of the region’s most impactful financial technology platforms. As a Management Board Member, she shapes organisational strategy, governance, innovation priorities and cross-functional decision-making at the highest level. Beyond her technical and business achievements, she is a committed champion for gender diversity in technology. She has publicly spoken about the under-representation of women in IT and actively supported initiatives to encourage young women and girls into STEM fields—recognising that diverse perspectives are essential to technological innovation and sustainable growth. Her career demonstrates more than two decades of digital and technological leadership: from serving as Head of State Portal eesti.ee at the Estonian Information System Authority, to advising the Government Office of Estonia on critical national IT projects including Estonia 100, to leading IT development at Statistics Estonia, the Ministry of the Environment, Eesti Energia (Estonian Energy) and other nationally significant institutions. Her roles have consistently combined technology, governance, cybersecurity considerations, user-centric design, and large-scale implementation. She has also contributed to civic impact and innovation through volunteer work on World Cleanup Day (GIS systems development) and by serving as a Board Member of the Estonian Society of Geoinformatics. This unique blend of fintech expertise, public-sector digitalisation leadership, board-level strategic insight and active commitment to improving diversity makes her exceptionally well qualified speaker at Stockholm Fintech Week.
